Hello everyone! Today, I will share with you all three fun eyeshadows that can be worn every day for casual wear, and which give your eyes that “my eyes but better look”. These eyeshadows look like skin, but better. They smooth the color on the lid, and they naturally enhance the eyes and the skin around them.
These eyeshadows are natural-looking and they are even professional enough for the workplace and business. Natural eyeshadows like these are also great for beginners who are learning to apply makeup for the first time, and for makeup looks that are fast to create for those days when you are in a hurry and do not have much time to spend on your appearance.
1. The Shade “Sand Castle”
This eyeshadow shade is a beige light brown cafe shade; it is a Mary Kay ChromaFusion Eyeshadow. This eyeshadow blends in perfectly with tan brown skin, and since it has yellow undertones, it blends smoothly and seamlessly with tan olive skin tones like mine. On someone with white skin, depending on how light their skin is and its undertones, this shade will come out darker, and can even look like a caramel brown beige color.
2. The Shade “Blossom”
This is the Mary Kay ChromaFusion Eyeshadow in the shade “Blossom”. This is a beige eyeshadow with heavy pink and white undertones, so the undertones of this eyeshadow will come out best on those with white and light skin tones, such as Asian and Caucasian skin tones.
On someone with brown tan skin like mine, this shade comes out like a silvery white steel grey where the pink undertones are lost. However, on white and light-colored skin, the white undertones become muted, and you can see a strong pink beige coloration. This is not a warm pink though, it is a cool pink, so it will work well on cool skin tones.
I love eyeshadow shades like this one, and I feel that they compliment my tan skin nicely. On brown skin like mine though, it is much more glamorous, so it does lose its naturalness. It is a great fun shade to wear though on special occasions like going out to a bar or club, or for the Christmas holiday.
3. The Shade “Biscotti”
This is a white beige shade with pink undertones. This is the Mary Kay ChromaFusion Eyeshadow in the shade “Biscotti”. This shade looks like a simple beige white shade in the packaging, but once swatched, it has more life to it. On tan brown skin like mine, this shade looks white and the pink undertones are muted and hidden. On white skin, the pink undertones are able to come out fully. Depending on your skin’s undertones and the shade of white that you have, this shade can also look more beige brown where the pink undertones are also hidden.
I really like this eyeshadow color, but it is not for everyone. Like the shade “Blossom”, this shade has that lovely steel grey color that I like, but it also has more smokey blue undertones to it. This shade is not quite as smooth as the shade “Blossom” is; in fact, it is a bit patchy, so the shade “Blossom” has a better formula, but you can smooth this shade out by applying a water-based moisturizer over your eyes first before applying your makeup. This will add more grip and stickiness to the eyes, and it will smooth the skin on the eyes and remove dryness and flaking, which will help your eyeshadows to apply more smoothly and evenly.
