Today I will be reviewing a cosmetic product that has been inspired by K-beauty, and which is very affordable and can be found easily in places like Target and CVS. The cosmetic product that I will review today is the Joah Truly Yours Radiant BB Cream.

Cost: $4 – $8, depending on where you buy it.

Amount of Product: 30 Ml, 1 FL. OZ.

This BB cream is made in Korea.

Shades: This BB cream comes in four shades: Light, Light Medium, Medium, and Deep. I purchased the shade Deep for this review.

Brand Promises: This BB cream is made by the brand Kiss Products, Inc. This brand promises that the BB cream will help cover and blur imperfections, as well as hydrate and protect the skin from chemical pollution and free radicals. This BB cream is also supposed to be lightweight, have medium buildable coverage, and even the skin tone.

Ingredients: This BB cream contains healing ingredients for the skin including glycerin, aloe, and niacinamide, which brightens the skin. This BB cream is made without formaldehyde, phthalates, sulfates, parabens, gluten, nuts, coal tar dyes, DEA-related ingredients, triclosan, and animal-based ingredients.

How Does This BB Cream Look On The Skin?

This BB cream matches my skin tone perfectly. It feels very moisturizing, and it really makes the skin look beautiful, perfect, and smooth. This BB cream also adds a healthy dewy glow to the skin, and it looks like I am not wearing any face makeup. This BB cream is also easy and smooth to apply, so I really love how this BB cream looks on the skin and how it performs.

Coverage: This BB cream has high buildable coverage that looks so smooth, that it looks like I am wearing foundation, rather than BB cream. This feature makes this BB cream a great quality one since most BB creams do not have such high coverage.

Lines: This BB cream does not settle into smile lines or the lines underneath the eyes, so this is a good BB cream for older mature skin.

Dark Circles: This BB cream reduces the appearance of dark circles, but slight darkness is still visible in the under-eye area, so you will still need concealer with it to make your makeup more perfect.

Transfer: I tested this BB cream on a tissue to see if it would transfer, and there was no noticeable transfer, so this BB cream should transfer little to none onto clothing and face masks.

Wear: This BB cream wears very well! After a few hours of wear, this BB cream did not become oily; it still looked the same as it did when I first applied it.

Final Thoughts

This is a really great BB cream and I am really impressed with it! It is really reasonably priced, it has high coverage, and it looks so beautiful and natural on the skin. You will still need concealer for the under-eye area, but the shade matches perfectly, unlikely traditional Korean BB creams, which are far too white and ghostly on the skin for tan complexions.

When starting this review, I originally thought that since this BB cream is made in Korea, it would look awful on me since I have not found even one Korean BB cream that does not make me look ghostly. So this BB cream really is unique and one of a kind. It has taken the best features of Korean BB creams and improved them in terms of shade matching, so this is a great BB cream and I highly recommend it!
