8 Tips To Help You Try To Avoid and Prevent Coronavirus

Hello everyone! I hope you all are still safe and well! With some countries reopening certain areas, I feel that it is imperative that everyone is even more cautious than before, and take important precautionary measures to try to avoid getting COVID-19/Coronavirus. So, what should be done to try to prevent getting Coronavirus? Here are 8 tips to help you stay safer and try to prevent getting the dreaded fatal Coronavirus.

 
1. Never let a stranger into your home without them wearing a mask
 

This is a really important rule to follow. I made the mistake of breaking this rule twice, and each time, I got sick. The first time this happened, a handyman came to my home and I got a cold that lasted about three days. The second time this happened, I felt very ill for about a week, and then the symptoms became mild for about three more days after that. 



In each case, the handyman did not wear a mask. The problem with this is that a handyman may go to as many as 50 different people’s houses each week, and with the pandemic, some of those people may have Coronavirus. This puts handymen in a dangerous position where they can easily get infected with Coronavirus or even become carriers of it. So, handymen can bring Coronavirus into your home, so always wear a mask yourself, and have them wear one while interacting with you, or while doing any work inside your home. 

2. Stay away from your pets after being exposed to Coronavirus
 
 

This is important because of zoonotic diseases. Zoonotic diseases are diseases that pass from humans to animals, and vice versa, so you should stay away from your pet(s) whenever you experience cold or flu-like symptoms. 

 




Of course, not all animals will catch Coronavirus from you, but those in the cat family seem especially more susceptible to picking up the virus from humans. So far, cats, lions, tigers, and a dog have tested positive for Coronavirus. Since we still do not know how harmful Coronavirus can be for animals, it is best to be safe than sorry.

3. Always bathe after going out because the virus can get onto your skin and clothes
 
 
 

Viruses can enter the body in many different ways. They can be breathed into the body from the air when you inhale. They can enter your eyes and ears. They can enter your body through a cut or injury, or they can be absorbed through the skin since it is porous. 

4. Never go outside without wearing a mask
 
 

Masks do not offer 100% guaranteed protection, but they do protect you a lot! Masks help directly protect you from inhaling viruses through your nose and mouth. Social distancing makes masks even more effective since it prevents you from being too close to anyone. Furthermore, Face masks can also be reused a few times, or over and over again if it is washable, which makes them very cost-effective.

 

5. Keep strong essential oils to cleanse the air and help you breathe if you catch Coronavirus
 
 

One of the most dangerous things about Coronavirus is that it can stop you from breathing. So one of the best things that you can do to try to avoid getting Coronavirus is to regularly cleanse the air inside your home. One way to do this is by using essential oils. Essential oils can be used in two ways to do this.

 




The first way to use essential oils is to cleanse the air by putting essential oils into the air using a diffuser, or by putting the essential oil on a napkin, and then place each napkin into each room of your home. Two great essential oils for cleansing the air are peppermint and spearmint.

People stocking the shelves late at night when no one is in the store may feel safe enough to not wear a mask, but if they are sick, or are a carrier without symptoms, they can still infect the products that they put onto the shelves. Thus, you should always wipe off your groceries once you get them home. 

7. Buy an air cleaner
 
 

An air cleaner will put positive and negative ions into the air to purify it. Some air cleaners will put ozone into the air. Ions and ozone will help purify and cleanse the air of contaminants and pollutants, so they are a great way to help protect you inside of your home or office.

 

8. Isolate yourself at home. Coronavirus is outside your door, not just inside of other people’s homes or in public spaces
 
 
 

Viruses are airborne, so they are in the air. Viruses can also exist in water and on surfaces, so viruses are not something that you can only get from other people. You can get viruses from non-living things as well. Viruses can exist all around you, so to avoid Coronavirus, you need to fully understand this important aspect of how viruses behave and function.
