みなさん、こんにちは! Hello everyone! Today I am going to review a Japanese cosmetic product by the popular brand Majolica Majorca. This brand was established in Japan in 2003, and they are known for their cute feminine princess queen bee packaging.
Majolica Majorca is part of the famous brand Shiseido/資生堂, but unlike most Shiseido products, Majolica Majorca products are inexpensive.
Since I love eyeshadows, I decided to purchase an eyeshadow palette by this brand. This would be my first time trying cosmetic products from Shiseido, so I am looking forward to trying it. The eyeshadow palette that I will review today is the PK201 Majolica Majorca Eyeshadow Palette.
Cost いくらですか: The Majolica Majorca eyeshadows cost about $8 each individually, so this palette with two eyeshadows costs around $14.
Amount of Product 製品の量: 2 grams.
Shades 色: This palette comes with two different colors, a pink shade, and a brown shade. This is the palette PK201, but there are four other palettes as well: BL201, BE101, BR301, and OR401. All of these eyeshadow palettes have one dark brown shade designed for the outer part of the eye or the cut crease, and another color (a light brown, blue, red, or pink shade) that is designed to be the main color for the center of the lid, the inner corner, and the lower lash line.

How These Eyeshadows Look On The Eyes 目に どのように見えますか
The Pink Shade ピンク色
The pink shade in this palette is a baby pink shimmer with white undertones and blue, green, red, and purple glitter flecks in it. I suspect that the base color for this pink eyeshadow is white.
The Brown Shade 茶色
The brown shade in this palette matches my skin color in darker lighting. Without a flash, this shade looks almost like a matte coffee shade with the slightest hint of shimmer, so it is a very natural shade for everyday wear.

Review/Final Thoughts アイシャドウについてどう思いますか
I have mixed feelings about these eyeshadows. I have heard that Japanese eyeshadows are not very pigmented, but I do not feel that that is necessarily the case. The pink shade in this palette is lovely and very pigmented. The brown shade on the other hand is too light in color to show up much on tanner darker skin tones like mine. The shimmer in this brown shade though can make it more noticeable in some lightings so there is pigment. Thus, I like the pink shade in this palette, and I definitely plan to wear it again.
In general, I have found Japanese pink eyeshadows to be very pretty, feminine, and pigmented. When it comes to the brown eyeshadow in this palette though, I will not likely wear it much since it does not show up much on my skin tone.
Japanese women usually have light skin tones, and they prefer natural-looking makeup, so their darker eyeshadows tend to be on the lighter side, such as light browns, blues, and purples. So if you have darker skin, I recommend avoiding Japanese brown eyeshadows and going for lighter shades like pinks, purples, greens, and reds instead.
If you have a lighter skin tone, then I think both of the eyeshadows in this palette may show up nicely for you. So how well these eyeshadows work for you will depend on your skin tone.
