Hello everyone! Today I have a hair review for you all. I am a big fan of the Loreal Paris hair products, so I decided to try their hair mousse. This is my first time trying hair mousse so I was not sure how it would come out at first, but to my surprise, it came out very well, so I am excited to share the results with you!

Amount of Product: 8.3 Ounces, 235 Grams.
Ingredient List: Aqua/Water/Eau, Isobutane, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, Propane, Phenoxyethanol, Triacetin, Aminomethyl Propanol, Polyquaternium-4, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Parfum/ Fragrance, Methylparaben, Xylose, Polysorbate 20, Amodimethicone, Arginine, Glutamic Acid, Serine, Limonene, Trideceth-6, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride. Product Line: This product line contains five different products: Boost It (for volume), Sleek It (to smooth and straighten), Curve It (for defining curls), TXT It (for improving hair texture), and Lock It (to add hold). The one that I am reviewing today is the Curve It hair mousse for curls, which also comes in a cream form.
Brand Promises: The Curve It line promises 24-hour hi-definition for curls without the frizz, while also making curls tight, natural-looking, playful, and sexy.
How I Styled My Hair With This Product
I washed my hair. Then I added my hair detangler to make it easy to detangle, and then I separated my hair into four sections. I blow-dried each section for about 2-3 minutes, then I applied this Loreal hair mousse to each section. I braided each section and pinned the braids on top of my head and went to bed. By the time I woke up, my hair was completely dry.
How This Hair Mousse Affected My Hair
There was a lot of shine. There was no frizz, and my hair was nice and soft. My hair also had a lot of body, bounce, and mobility. My hair looked healthy and my hair did not look weighed down. My hair looked nice and thick and it did not feel oily.
Overall, my curls looked pretty perfect with this hair mousse; they were very well-shaped and defined just like the brand promises. My roots also looked smoothed out as if my hair were permed. The effects of this hair mousse lasted for days as well until I washed my hair again, so it is also long-lasting.
I did not experience any flaking with this hair mousse, but one downside was that there was quite a bit of shrinkage. However, as I wore my hair down and separated the curls, I was able to stretch the curls out a bit, but there was still quite a bit of shrinkage.
Conclusion/Final Thoughts
I really like this hair mousse. I have heard complaints about some hair mousses causing flaking or making the hair stick together and feel crunchy, but I had none of these issues. This hair mousse performed perfectly for me and I felt that everything the brand promised about this product is true, so I do highly recommend giving this hair mousse a try if you are looking for a new style for your curls!
