Hello everyone! For the coming holiday 🎅, I thought a new makeup tutorial would be fun, especially a glam bold one for New Year’s and Christmas! It has been a good while since I did a makeup tutorial, so I am excited to share this look with you all 😉! This is a simple easy makeup tutorial that only requires six makeup products, and you can finish the look in just seven steps. So, without further ado, here is the step-by-step guide on how to recreate the look above.
Step 1: Prime The eyes with an eye primer or an eyeliner sealer. Both will make eye makeup last longer on the eyes and enhance the color.
Step 2: Apply a neutralizer first to the under-eye area to reduce discoloration underneath the eye. Then apply a concealer afterward for darkness. I used the Korean brand Etude House’s Big Cover Concealer Kit, which comes with a red neutralizing color, and two concealers. I reviewed this concealer kit on this website. I absolutely love it, and I have almost hit pan on it already, so I do recommend the Etude House neutralizing concealers.
Step 3: Apply Eyeshadow. For this look, I used the vegan kosher cruelty-free EmbyBoutique Eyeshadow Palette that the brand sent to me to try out. I only used one eyeshadow in this palette for this look, so it is an easy simple look to recreate. I used the first eyeshadow on the third row, the purple shade. I applied this eyeshadow on my upper lid, and at the inner corner.
Step 4: Line the upper and lower lash line with a black liner. The line on both the upper and lower lash line should be thin going towards the inner corner, and then thicker going from the middle to the end of the eye. The line on the lower lash line should be thinner than the line on the upper lash line, even at the inner corner.
The eyeliner that I used is the Korean brand Tonymoly‘s Gel Eyeliner in the shade Black.
Step 5: Draw/Fill in your eyebrows. I drew in my eyebrows with an herbal black kajal eyeliner. I went for a natural brow for this look. I sell these herbal kajal liners here on this website.
Step 6: Apply mascara to the upper lash line. As always, I used one of the Palladio mascaras. This time I used the Palladio Botanical Vitamin Infused Lash Obsessed Mascara.
Step 7: Apply mascara to the lower lash line to enhance the look further and make it more glamorous.
Voila! You are all done!
