I love Korean makeup and more Korean brands are now selling face makeup for darker and more tan skin tones. There are more and more Korean makeup brands being sold in Target now and there is a current trend in Korea towards tanning. One of the Korean brands that have embraced darker shades is Missha, so I will be reviewing Missha’s Perfect Cover BB Cream today.
The Missha Perfect Cover BB cream is healthier for your skin since it contains:
- Rosemary Extract
- Chamomile Extract

This BB cream did settle into the lines underneath my eyes quite a bit, so I recommend keeping this BB cream away from the undereye area and any area with a lot of lines.

Final Thoughts
Pros: The Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream does cover really well and it does reduce the appearance of dark circles. The coverage for this BB cream is so good that you can wear it by itself in place of foundation.
Cons: There are a few obvious downsides to this BB cream. When taking pictures, because there is a lot of flashback and a white cast, it can look too white on the skin and very mask-like if you are tan. So, this BB cream is more for people with lighter skin tones and very slight tans. Due to the whiteness of this BB cream, I do not feel that this BB cream is for most women of color. You would have to be lighter, such as a light caramel or toffee skin tone like mine.
Finally, this BB cream did settle into the lines underneath my eyes and into my smile lines, so when wearing this BB cream, you should keep it away from the undereye area. Thus, I also do not recommend this BB cream for older, more mature skin.
Personally, I feel that my skin looks better without this BB cream, so this BB cream is just not for me. Have you tried any of the Missha BB Creams? What did you think of them?
