Hello everyone! Today I will review a popular drugstore foundation by the well-known brand L’oreal Paris. I will review their Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation.
Within the L’oreal Paris Infallible Line, you can buy the Pro-Matte, the 24 Hour Fresh Wear, and the Pro-Glow Liquid Foundation.
Cost: $8.00 – $12.99, depending on where you buy it.
Amount of Product: 1 Fl. Oz. 30 Ml.
Brand Promises: L’oreal Paris promises that this foundation will leave you with a demi-matte finish. The foundation is supposed to be long-wearing and can be worn for 24 hours. This foundation is expected to be light airy in texture, apply smoothly, and provide medium coverage. This foundation is oil-free and is not supposed to transfer, so the formula is closer to a BB cream than a foundation.
Shades: L’oreal Paris has a very impressive shade range for this line. There are 28 shades available. The shade that I purchased for this review is the shade Caramel Beige. This shade is lighter than my skin tone, but in normal lighting, it is not detectable.

How Does This Foundation Look On The Skin?
Before (Without Foundation) and After (With Foundation)
Coverage/Dark Circles: This foundation has excellent coverage and it can be layered to achieve full coverage. This foundation is really great for covering up dark circles. It really reduces darkness and the appearance of lines underneath the eyes.
Wear/Formula: This foundation feels like you are not wearing anything so it is a light weightless foundation. The formula for this foundation is not watery, and it does apply easily and smoothly like water, so it is easy to move around and blend into the skin.
When I tested this foundation by pressing a tissue against it to see if it would transfer, there was no noticeable transfer, so this foundation should have little to no transfer as the brand promises.
Fine Lines/Dry Skin: This foundation does not settle into lines, such as the smile lines, but it will settle into dry patches, so it is not for dry skin.
This foundation makes the skin look beautiful, smooth, and flawless, without looking like you are wearing makeup, so it is a natural lightweight foundation. This foundation absorbs quickly into the skin, and just as the brand promises, it does not transfer. The formula for this foundation is truly closer to that of a BB cream than a foundation. These features make this foundation perfect for the no-makeup look.
Scent: This foundation has no perfume scent. It smells like clay.
Final Thoughts
I love this foundation. It combines the best features of a foundation and a BB cream. It has excellent coverage and a great price point. It also applies easily and smoothly. This foundation is easily accessible as well since you can find them in everyday stores like CVS, and unlike most brands, L’oreal Paris has a large shade range to accommodate different skin tones. Although the formula for this foundation may not suit dry skin tones, you can get the Pro-Glow Liquid Foundation in this line, so there is a foundation for different skin types within this line.
Given my experiences and thoughts on this foundation, I do think that it is an excellent good quality foundation, so I do recommend it!
