Product Review: Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadows – Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette

Hello everyone! A friend of mine works for Mary Kay as a Mary Kay sales consultant, so she sent me a bunch of eyeshadows from them to try. My friend even put a special eyeshadow palette together for me, so I am going to review one of the palettes that she sent me today. The palette that I will review today is the Mary Kay Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette.

The Mary Kay eyeshadows cost less than $10 💵 each. They are made in Canada, and they are mineral-based eyeshadows, so they are safer on the eyes. This eyeshadow palette, the Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette, comes with four shades in it: A leafy 🍁 green shade, a gold shade that reminds me of the sun ☀ on a warm summer day, a dark plum purple shade, and a lighter deep purple shade. The gold and green shades are perfect for summer 🌸 and spring 🌼 makeup looks.

Pigmentation: All of the colors in this eyeshadow palette are beautiful and quite pigmented, even without eye primer. However, I did get the most pigmentation out of them by layering them and using eye primer.

Color: The darkest purple shade in this eyeshadow palette is more matte compared to the other shades. Although this shade looks like there is shimmer in it when you look at it in the packaging, once it is applied to the eyes, it does not show any shimmer. The green and gold shades have a ton of shimmer, and they are very beautiful, so they are my favorite shades in this whole palette.

Texture: The eyeshadows are all soft in this palette, so they apply easily to the eyes.
Long-Lasting: These eyeshadows last on my eyes all day long, even without eye primer.

Packaging: The eyeshadows in this palette come with simple packaging. The pan is not magnetic and the eyeshadows are not glued to the packaging, so be careful not to turn the eyeshadows upside down because they will fall out. Thus, I recommend putting them in a magnetic eyeshadow palette.

Final Thoughts

I love the eyeshadows in the Mary Kay Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette. I can see myself wearing all of the shades in this palette often, especially in the summer and spring. I also like that Mary Kay gives you a little bit less of the green shade compared to the other shades in this palette because you are less likely to use this shade as frequently as the other shades.

All in all, I love all of the shades in the Mary Kay Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette! I feel that these eyeshadows are great quality! I also love the formula. I like that these eyeshadows are more natural and mineral-based, so given all the features of these eyeshadows, I do highly recommend the Mary Kay eyeshadows.
