Hello everyone! Today I am going to review an herbal natural organic kajal eyeliner pencil for you all by the brand Modicare. This is their Urban Color Intense Stay 10Hrs Kajal Eyeliner in the shade Blackest Black.
Cost: Kajal eyeliners cost between $3-$6, depending on where you buy them.
This Modicare eyeliner is made in Germany.
Ingredients: This kajal eyeliner is made with natural organic ingredients including olive oil, theobroma grandiflorum seed butter, echium plantagineum seed oil, Cardiospermum halicacaburn flower/leaf/vine extract, and sunflower seed oil.
Color: This eyeliner is very dark, beautiful, and pigmented. This eyeliner creates very sultry-looking eyes.
Brand Promises: Modicare promises that this kajal eyeliner will last 10 hours and that it is smudge-proof, waterproof, and organic.
Smudgeproof: Though the brand says that this kajal is smudge-proof, it actually is not.
Waterproof: It is waterproof.
Smell: There is no smell.
Application: This eyeliner applies easily and smoothly, even on top of eyeshadow.
This eyeliner does not apply well with falsies since the eyelash glue can prevent the liner from applying towards the inner and outer corners. So make sure that if you pair this eyeliner with false eyelashes, you are skilled at applying lashes and you can apply them smoothly in one go to prevent issues at the inner and outer corners of the eye. However, when you do apply this eyeliner with falsies, it looks very beautiful and sexy.
Removal: This eyeliner is hard to remove with oil. I had to wash my face firmly twice with oil to remove it, so it does adhere well to the skin, which helps it to last on the eyes for hours.
I do like this kajal eyeliner. It does not bother me that this kajal is not smudge-proof, since I can smudge-proof it myself with setting powder. I like that the formula for this kajal liner is natural and organic. It is also dark and pigmented both with and without eyeshadow. This kajal liner is also easy to apply, even on top of eyeshadow, and it is inexpensive, so I do think that this is a great quality kajal eyeliner.
SECRET BEAUTY TIP: Whenever I want my eyeliner to smudge as little as possible, I always apply a setting powder directly on top of my liner. This makes the liner set and move around much less throughout the day. Fortunately, kajals are so dark in color, that even with white setting powder on top of them, they are still quite pigmented. When I want the liner to be even darker, I apply black eyeshadow on top of the powdered liner, which helps reduce and prevent smudging even more.
