Product Review: Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipsticks – Turkish Cruelty-Free Makeup and Cosmetics

Hello everyone! Today I will review some new products that I bought from a Turkish makeup brand that I love called, Golden Rose. I have started to really love matte lipsticks so I picked up a few lipsticks from their Velvet Matte Lipstick line to try out and review for you all today.

Cost: These lipsticks cost $5.99 – $7.99, depending on where you buy them. Amazon has a lot of them, so I bought various Golden Rose products on there.

Where Were These Made? Nerede Yapılmış? These lipsticks were made by the Turkish brand Golden Rose, which is in Istanbul Turkey.

Cruelty-Free? Golden Rose supports animal rights, ethical treatment, and it is cruelty-free.

Colors: I bought three of Golden Rose’s Velvet Matte Lipsticks. I bought shades 20, 28, and 29.

How Do These Lipsticks Look On The Lips?

Tint: Even when I removed these lipsticks with a paper towel, a nice strong tint remained on my lips, so even after you eat, some color will still remain on your lips.

Smell? There is a smell, but it is so slight that I can not smell anything most of the time; I have to smell it over and over again to smell anything, and the smell that comes is a kind of candy or chocolate smell.

Transfer-Proof: These lipsticks are not transfer-proof, but they do not get on the teeth.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love these lipsticks! They are very comfortable on the lips; I often forget that I am wearing them. These lipsticks are not drying and my lips feel more moisturized after I apply them. These lipsticks do not have a very noticeable scent, they do not get on my teeth, and they leave a tint behind even after eating. So these lipsticks do everything that I expect good-quality lipsticks to do. I have no complaints about them at all. I definitely plan on buying more of Golden Rose’s lipsticks, and I do highly recommend them.
