Hello everyone! I love L’oreal hair products, and they have always worked well for my very curly dry hair. This is why I recently decided to pick up a new L’oreal hair product to try out. Since I am now straightening my hair again, I decided to buy a straightening balm. So the L’oreal hair product that I will review today is their Advanced Haircare Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Perfecting Balm.
Cost: $14.99 – $22.00, depending on where you buy it.
Ingredients: This L’oreal leave-in hair product contains several good ingredients for your hair including Kera-tourmaline, pro-keratin, arginine, serine, wheat protein, silica, and citronellol. This hair product does contain fragrance. It has a perfume scent to it.
Brand Promises: L’oreal Paris promises that this leave-in hair product will make hair healthier, straighter, softer, shinier, and last longer. This product will also seal the hair shaft, make styling with heat tools easier, penetrate the hair fiber, and add heat protection for temperatures up to 450 degrees.
How This Product Made My Hair Look
Since this product is a straightening balm, I straightened my hair with it using only a hairdryer and a hairbrush. Then I set my hair in braids while I slept.
My hair came out beautifully with this product, so this straightening balm met all of my expectations. My hair had a lot of shine, mobility, and it looked healthy, thick, nourished, and moisturized. My hairstyle also lasted until I washed my hair again 5-7 days later.
This hair product is excellent, but there is one thing that some people might not like about it, and that is, when I touched my hair, it did feel a bit oily, but my hair still looked thick, and it did not look weighed down at all, so I did not mind this.
Final Thoughts
I love this hair product, and I have absolutely no complaints about it! This straightening balm worked excellently for me, and it did all of the things that I expected a good-quality hair product to do. While I continue to straighten my hair, this product will get a lot of use, and I do intend to repurchase it, as well as try some other L’oreal Paris straightening hair products.
