Hello everyone! Today I will do a hair product review with a mineral-based leave-in hair product for curls that I purchased at Whole Foods. Almost all of the hair products that I buy are from Amazon, but this time, I decided to do something different. I decided to check out the products that they have at Whole Foods since they have mineral-based organic natural products.
This particular beauty balm that I got is by the brand Mineral Fusion, which also has a makeup cosmetic line. Mineral Fusion is a brand that has inexpensive natural products, and along with this leave-in hair balm, they also have shampoos, conditioners, shine, and repair hair products.
Cost: $6.99 – $9.99, depending on where you buy it.
Amount of Product: 5 ounces.
Ingredients: This product is cruelty-free and sulfate-free. It contains many products that are good for the hair including sunflower seed oil, argan oil, biotin, various extracts, aloe, linseed oil, hydrolyzed protein, rose, moringa seed oil, and murumuru seed butter. This hair product does contain fragrance, however, it is that clean kind of smell, and it is barely noticeable.
Brand Promises: The brand promises that this leave-in curl care balm is an all-in-one; it can be used as a hairstyler; it will define your curls; it will moisturize dry hair; it will help control frizz, and it is a color and heat protectant.
Hair Application
I applied this curl balm to towel-dried hair after adding a hair detangler and a moisturizer to allow me to comb out and remove any knots. Then I parted my hair into four sections and added a quarter-size amount of this balm to each section of hair. I braided the product into each section of hair, and then I blow-dried the hair for five minutes on each side. I went to bed and took my hair down the following day.
How This Product Looked On My Hair
Review/Final Thoughts
This hair product did what the brand said it would. I was able to successfully use it to style my hair and set it; my curls were also defined and my hair looked moisturized.
My hair also came out looking shiny and smooth. There was a little bit of frizz centered at the roots of my hair, but I do definitely feel that this product helped minimize frizz. My hair looked lovely and thick, and it had body and mobility. I also love the mineral-based ingredient list, so I have no complaints about this product. I am very happy with how my hair turned out.
With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
That is tricky. In my case, since I am writing about health, I have to use other resources all the time, such as medical journals and news reports, so it is information that is widely shared and spread, rather than personal or exclusively mine. I am concerned with my photos being stolen so to avoid that, I add my website in large print on all photos that I take myself or which have me in them. When someone spreads your information around, it usually leads more people to you and is free exposure, but if you are not given credit for it, then it is an issue. The best thing to do is to contact the ones that do not at least give credit back to you. Notify them that it is your content and that is being used without your permission and that you want it removed or credited back to you. If they do not respond to your email and either credit you or remove your content after a few days, then you should send a cease and desist letter to them. You can easily create this yourself for free online using a template. If they ignore your letter, then you can use that letter to help you get a legally enforceable cease and desist order processed by a court to make them stop. A cease and desist order can cost a $1,000, so you should use a pro bono lawyer to get one free or affordably if you can not afford full attorney’s fees.
