Today I will be reviewing a Mary Kay eyeshadow palette that I was sent by a friend of mine who is a Mary Kay Consultant. The palette that I will be reviewing is the Mary Kay Rock The Runway Eyeshadow Palette.

Cost: These eyeshadows are not expensive in my opinion. They cost less than $10 apiece.

Where They Are Made: Mary Kay eyeshadows are made in Canada and they are mineral eyeshadows.

Color: This palette comes with five shades. Two everyday shades that you can wear when running errands or when going to work, and three glam shades that are great for a night out or a smokey eye.

The last three shades in this palette make this palette a bit more difficult for beginners since they do require more steps. You will also likely need to apply eyeliner with the looks that you create with them, so they do require more skill and creativity.

Pigmentation: All of the shades in this palette are very pigmented, glittery, and beautiful.

Formula: These eyeshadows are powdery so the palette will get messy quickly, but I had no issues applying them to my eyes. Only one eyeshadow had a bit of fallout, which was the fourth shade, the lighter blue shade. This shade had a small amount of fallout though, so it was not a problem at all.

Blending: All of these eyeshadows were easy to blend and applied easily and smoothly to my eyes.

First Gold Shade

Second Bronze Brown Shade

Third Silver Shade

Fourth Blue Shade

Last Darkest Black Shade

This is the darkest shade in this palette, and it is a great one for a smokey eye. It is not super jet black, but more of a charcoal dark black with flecks of purple and blue glitter in it. This is such a beautiful shade and I can do so much with it. I love it!

Final Thoughts

Like all of the Mary Kay eyeshadows I have tried before, I love these as well. The quality, colors, and shade range of this palette is excellent. All of the shades are very pigmented and the colors are so stunning. The variety of shades also makes it perfect for traveling. I honestly can’t recommend this palette enough. This palette has quickly become one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes from Mary Kay.
